Kala Elite simply refers to an entire line of made in Cali 'ukuleles. Individual models like the Kala Elite Doghair, Kala Elite 1Koa, etc., are standard production models. When limited is added to the name, it signifies special exception in materials or design to one of the standard models. The T indicates tenor. For example, I have a one with a Kala Elite Limited T label. In hand written ink are further identifiers but basically it's a cross between the 1Koa and 3Koa models: koa grade of 1Koa but with the ebony fingerboard and binding of the 3Koa (but no inlaid rosette). HMS ordered a run of them and I snagged one last year.
