    Default BBC uke history

Heard this BBC audio today on uke history. Not sure how old it is, it says released today, but available for over a year

One thing mentioned which I did not know..that Maccaferri sold over 9 million of their plastic ukes!

That was a lovely listen. Thanks for sharing!

The program is mostly about the history of the uke which I'm sure is more or less familiar for most people here but it had some interesting tidbits. And it also features Samantha Muir, Brittni Paiva and Jim Beloff, all lovely uke related people.

Thank you John. I'm a big fan of Sam Muir. I love Brittni's playing too. And I got to meet Jim.

Oh, almost forgot about the date of the program until Bill mentioned it above. It's clearly a new program, released on the 13th i.e., yesterday. The mention of "available for over a year" just means how long it will be archived. European public broadcast companies often don't archive their programs indefinitely.
