Production grinds to a halt

These 4 are waiting for the fret wire to arrive before I can go much further with them...it was ordered 5 weeks ago from SM and we do not know where it is but tracking shows it is on the move again ( could be Corvid problems again) SM were very good about the delay and refunded the postage..So until it arrives I will do a bit of tidying up and sort out the workshop.

Don't worry about it. I'll buy one at half price and finish it myself.

Have you considered just using some different wire from a UK supplier?

Yes ! But if I buy from SM and have it shipped here and pay import tax it is still 30% less than the UK supplier could supply...I only do this cos I am retired and I do not do it for a living..So I will be patient and wait till it arrives.ld:
EDIT. Two hours after I wrote this..the said fretwire arrived and I have re-started production. HURRAH :smileybounce:
