Thanks, guys. All 19 frets are playable, I get seven pentatonic/modal shapes, and it is reclaimed wood from a London park. It cured my UAS. I don't even play my Kamaka that much any more.
 
My Rob Collins Meranti Soprano is my absolute favourite of my small collection. I had met Rob a couple of times, but I actually got that uke from him at one of the 'Snowdonia Ukulele Gatherings' organised by a lovely bloke known as Sunny Jim. And Rob and his performing partner Claire had played at our Uke club
once, as a favour to me. They play as 'PerilousMojo' and were a delight to watch and hear!
