This was the last uke I completed. I'm feeling better again and will start completing some back burner ukes and start some new stuff I have drawn up.

Black walnut back and sides, Douglas fir top, mahogany neck, Gotoh UPT tuners. I couldn't get the colors in the inlay to show up on camera. The blues and greens in the wave were really lit up.

Beautiful work, DB. I'm glad that's "last" as in "most recent"! It's great that you are feeling much better. Keep it up!

Hey! Glad to see you back, Vic! :shaka:

Thanks for the kind words, y'all. I can't believe I didn't get a better shot of that inlay. Here's a shot of it on the inlay bench.

Beautiful work, and a beautiful inlay.

Just a little creative critique on the way you have chosen to present your beautiful instrument. One of the first things we focused on in product photography is what or who is the hero of our photograph. In this case it is your ukulele. Everything that distracts from the hero degrades the hero in the image. In this case the bright, in focus print pattern.
