Caramel had a solid mango concert that looked interesting; I wrote and asked if I could get a discount code. They sent one, and I ordered it, and what arrived was this ukulele instead (and the concert mango models were out of stock). So I didn't get much of a price break on the instrument at all (it might have been cheaper than what I paid during Prime Days).

However, I was very impressed with this instrument. Caramel has learned a lot (like all the manufacturers) and this one looks amazing, plays well, and sounds great (I do like bright sounding ukuleles).

(I was on the road the last two weeks and didn't get to publish these, so there will be a couple of posts today).

I got the Caramel baritone CB305 solid Spruce top with Quilted Maple back and sides when it was briefly on Amazon. It is very lively (classic spruce). I treat it like it cost a million bucks, which it didn't. These short-run models seem to get the best QC. It was a great find.

That is nice looking, and would certainly make a good starter Uke for a student.
