From my understanding sellers do this when they're out of stock and don't want to remove the listing. They put an extra digit in to prevent people ordering something they can't sell.

I can't believe that I have seen these listed on Amazon for around $49 dollars. You know that they have to be cheap Chinese made knock offs. I hope nobody is naive enough to grab one of those thinking it is the real thing. Somebody should post a warning about that
