And you’ll find a lot of reasons to drop the four string and run away as fast as you can

Welcome to the UU Forum emerryjones. It's great that you have discovered the ukulele. They are a lot of fun.

The best motivator I know is to play with other people. Join a club. Play with friends who are beginners as well. Or online.

There are lots of resources online for beginners. And of course, we're happy to help if we can here on the Forum.

Welcome to UU, emerrryjones!

Play and make it fun each day, even if it's only 5 to 10 minutes. Build up that routine, start a 30 day uke challenge (play along with YouTube, or pause and practise).
