Received my new baritone from Scott Wise today. In short, it is wonderful! This is his current standard baritone model of Australian Blackwood with his beautiful rope binding. The uke is gorgeous and well made. The years of experience of the luthier show in the sound and build quality. This instrument has been on order since November 2019 and was worth every minute of the wait.

I am delighted with this baritone. This has a 15 fret neck, which increases the resonance and projection. The projection and resonance are excellent. It works great with this baritone. The setup is perfect and a joy to play.

The tone is exceptionally well balanced. The warmth and clarity are outstanding. The Martin fluorocarbon strings suit it very well.

Here is a sound sample, tuned one step down from standard baritone tuning

Wow, congrats on such a gorgeous uke! Sounds great too! :shaka:

Nice! That's CFAD tuning? I like it. I just put a tenor guitalele in C# F# B E G# C# tuning with TI35 and TI30 on the bottom. I bet those would work great for C and F on 19" scale. I might have to try that
