The Pono Rosewood and Ebony bodies are fine for me. (I'm 6'1" tall.) And I use 2" wide guitar straps on my tenors. They are just a bit heavier than the Cedar/Mahogany Pono. Solid Acacia and Mango are lighter still.

The heaviest instruments I have are my tenor banjoleles. The Southern Cross is weighty, but I love its look and sound. The Ponos are much lighter.
