Default Come join the UU minijams

Don't mean to clog up UU as there is already a sticky about this (top of the uke talk forum list) But i fear some people don't see it...all the information you want is up there....

UU Minijams is an online open mic of sorts...while we can't play at the same time, technology hasn't caught up yet, we take turns trying out new songs, playing our favorites, and enjoying the uke world. the minijam is open to ALLLLLLLLLL people from day 1 players to day 120801928049710298091823809123 ( pretty sure that isn't possible). We strive to keep an open supportive environment to learn, and much more importantly enjoy the ukulele.

Lately we've had lower turn outs, as life happens for all of us...but we aim to get on nearly every night....so come join in as your schedule allows. There is a facebook group : http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/g...group_activity (that that doesn't work just search UU minijams and subscribe to get notifications when people have hopped on.)

What you need to know: when you sign on, you can enter a name in the chat. When your window pops up at the top, there is an little mic picture and alittle camera. Clicking the mic will let you mute yourself so we don't hear your TV, farts, and kids running around while others play. You can also pause the video if you need to briefly get naked or something...by clicking the camera icon on YOUR window. We take turns playing...so use the chat to make sure the coast is clear. Also, headphones are very helpful as there can be an echo in the sound without them. The link is down here come on over and check us out

I love the Mini Jams, just haven't been awake at a time when they're running recently, or if I have been awake, I've been sick so couldn't join in! But yes, they are very fun and great to join in if you have a chance!
