    any ukulele books that just have scales (maybe chords). i know there are guitar books which just have thousands of scales, including arpeggios and the like. i was wondering if there is one for the uku. everytime i go to any stores they have song books not scale books.

    if there is nothing out there il just have to transcribe the guitar to uku...

    I don't know if it's exactly what you're lookin' for, but I was just looking tonight at the Hal Leonard Ukulele Chord Finder and Hal Leonard Ukulele Method books...

    Then there's always Fretboard Roadmaps...

    I don't have any of these, mind you, but I'm lookin' to get the chord finder and Fretboard Roadmaps.

    Ok, I know this is probably not even close to what you are looking for, but as a n00b who's more or less teaching himself the Uke this has been an invaluble tool.

    It's just a big chord chart that's folded in half and has a lot of the most used chords, as well as fingering suggestions and popular beginnings and endings.

    It's a fabulous tool, one thats easy to take along with you where ever you go.
