No, I do not work for "them", I am "them", I live and breath it. Xbox 1 was an entry into something new. Did we make mistakes? Yes. Did we learn from them and grow from them? Of course.
I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to, a large amount of our Xbox 1 games work on the 360. It is not like we just totally abandoned the first adopters that struggled through those first years with us (although enjoyed very killer exclusive games as well as Live!, which there is not anything out on the "other systems" that even come close to the breadth of that).
We have a great momentum with 3rd party developers that we had to earn thru Xbox 1 and beyond. You have to really understand the nature of the gaming industry to know how hard it is to get traction in it. Being late to the market and only on our 2nd gen, I would say we're doing pretty good as the leader and the console that developers now really WANT to develop for with the great support and modules we now provide for them. No PSx developer will tell you they get the same level of support that we do provide now, only 5 years since we started.
I'm sorry you feel cheated on your Xbox 1 experience. We'e got a lot in store for the 360 to come for years, but I won't make much more of a marketing statement to you, I'm an engineer and I design the hardware...
Cheers,
