A fellow teacher brought me a Ukulele that she had found in her mom's garage after her recent death. It's a nice instrument, an all koa soprano, but it has two significant cracks on the top and the back. If they were just hair line cracks, no problem, but these appear to be the result of shrinkage due to the wood drying out. I think it might be the end of the line, but I thought I would I'd ask the experts first.

I'm no luthier, but I've glued back together ukes with, oh, say 3/64" cracks, no problem. If you're going to be at the Uke Fest in St. Helena next Saturday, I'd be glad to look at it. Pics might get you more help here.
