    Default C > Db > C Progression

The humble 'ukulele reminds me again that I have to crawl before I can walk. I was practicing a C > Db > C chord progression - 0003, 1114, 0003. It wasn't until I slowed down that I noticed if I kept my ring finger on the C chord after playing it, I could barre the first frets with my index and drop my pinkie on the A string fourth fret and play the Db and then lift up my index and pinkie and play the last C chord.

I find an easier way to play this progression is 5433, 6544, 5433.

I frequently play a song in Db (Piledriver Waltz by Alex Turner). 1114 is a real hand-cramper. Think I'll start alternating with 6544 as Jim suggests.
