Posting here as well as Ukulele Building/Luthier's Lounge as I hoping some people who wouldn't normally read there may read this.

I am hoping to do A Pete Howlett Extreme Build course in the new year. With the result being a luthier made/supervised solid premium grade Koa uke (concert or tenor).

The course would take two full days (no specific date as yet) at Pete' workshop in Newport, Wales. UK.

I am looking to see if anyone else would be interested in doing the course with me as having two students at the same time would reduce the cost by about £100.00 to each person from the normal fee.

If you are not familiar with Pete' work visit his website at: http://petehowlettukulele.co.uk/
or his Youtube at: http://www.youtube.com/user/PeteHowlett

There are also a couple of UU threads about previous extreme builds here:

Please PM me if you are interested!
Many thanks
John

Sorry, we can't have two threads for the same topic. Merging now. I'll leave a re-direct in Uke Talk for you, though.

I can recommend this suggestion to anyone who feels that way inclined. Pete's work is legendary, and the quality of the finished product will be beyond doubt.

Just a word of warning - if you are hooked on tea drinking, take your own tea bags. That is one vice Pete does not have!

Wow, I would love to go to that. But you mean for 100 pounds less 3 people get the experience, but you get the uke?

No, both students would make a uke.
The fee to each student would be £100 less than it would be if they were on a one on one course with Pete.
