I finally saw one of these today, they had GHS strings on them, and it didn't sound that great, but I think it may just be the strings. It felt great though! It was the Quilted Maple Concert Ukulele.

Now, I'm thinking of getting one of these, but I want a Tenor, does anyone know if they make them in a Tenor? This thing would match my Ibanez Quilted Maple Acoustic, and my Ibanez Koa Classical Perfectly! :D

I haven't heard of a tenor from them, yet. My guess is that if the concert does well, you'll see all sizes coming. Too bad they aren't solid, because the laminate could be partially responsible for the poor sound, and replacing GHS strings with Aquilas or Worth's would help. I like the looks of the spalted mango, too. How did the radius freboard feel?

I own one. The Laminate doesn't really bother me all that much. Switching strings out really helps. however, the fret board is NOT radius(ed). I thought it was when i ordered it but there is nothing in the description on the Ibanez site that says it is. There is a picture showing measurements but they must use the same picture regardless. just wanted to clear that up. All in all it is a great uke. And I love showing it off. It looks so pretty.

Really? That's quite misleading. Here's the page from the Ibanez website showing neck dimensions...

It is misleading if you just look at that page. It's really just laziness on the part of Ibanez for not finishing the page the way they do with their guitars. For example, look at this: http://shop.mainlandukuleles.com/product.sc?productId=12&categoryId=3 That picture is really only there to be a map for the measurements. For the uke, they don't bother listing measurements at all. If they aren't providing measurements, they should take that picture down.

I just noticed this: http://www.ibanez.com/AcousticGuitars/model-M510BS This is one of their mandolins. They use the same picture, but the measurements tell you there is no radius. That's what they should have on the uke page.

Thanks for the clarification. Yes, laziness on Ibanez's part, but also on mine for not looking further when I did a while back. Since I didn't it just stuck in my head that they were radiused, and it never really made much sense to me, seeing how inexpensive they are.

Thanks for all the replies everyone! I think I may go with one regardless because I just love the look. That spalted mango looks great!!! The way they laminate their tops they use some special technology that I think they've patented to allow the wood to breathe more and act like a solid top. The two guitars I have both sound INCREDIBLE. The strings on them at the store just felt VERY cheap, so I would change them as soon as I got it. But after messing around with it again, I think the concert will be right up my ally. The tenor is cool, but I don't think I NEED one...well I don't NEED this, but when ya go UAS, you got UAS, and THAT NEEDS to be satisfied LOL.

Okay, it'll take me a couple weeks to get it, but I think I'm leaning towards it. And oh yeah, I'll do a video, I record everything, so, of course I'll do one! LOL
