Pickup Chord

Hey there UU,

I just recently got a new Uke for Christmas. A Lanikai CK-TEQ with a pickup. I completely digg it. Just one little thing - the Uke has a pickup, and I have an Amp I could use, but have been using only an external pickup on the Guitar. Long story short, I don't have a chord that runs from the Amp to my pickup. I just wanted to see if anyone knew of a special chord that sounded great through the Amp, or if just any chord will do.

I think a Gmaj7 chord sounds great though most amps if you're running clean or with a bit of chorus. If you're putting a lot of distortion on it, stick to power chords like C5.

As for cords, any reasonably decent 1/4" - 1/4" cord will do the trick. Some people claim that the high-end makes like Monster Cable sound distinctly better, and maybe they do. Personally, I wouldn't pay the extra money though.
