My cousin asked me to be his musician for his wedding, which I've done before with my violin, but he wants me to also play ukulele in the ceremony somewhere.

I thought I could possibly find an arrangement of Pachelbels Canon online th only thing I could fnd was an arrangement for 4 ukes and...I'm just one.

I have an arrangement for Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring by Bach but it sounds kinda dinky on solo uke.

Does anyone have any suggestions of something I should look at?? It does not have to be classical pieces. I can read music and tab.

Has anyone ever played uke for a wedding before?

The Road That Never Ends (easy chords)

Composed By: Jim Kimball
Performed By: Keali'i Reichel
Submitted By: Amber Keoho <palehua1991@yahoo.com>

G
Here we are
Em
In this holy place together
C
Bearing witness as the two of you
D G
Become man and wife

On this day
Em
As you join in heart and spirit
C
You begin another chapter
D G
in the book of life

Chorus:
D Em
Love is a circle that surrounds you
C
You can find it on the faces
D
Of your family and friends

G D Em
Love, let it wrap it's arms around you
C
And guide you on your journey
D G
Down the road that never ends

There's a song in your hearts
You can hear it if you listen
As it whispers through the branches
High above the family tree

And as time
Plays it's melody upon you
You can rest assured in knowing
That you are right where you should be

Chorus 2x

ah fantastic suggestions! thanks.

I shoulda just posted here to begin with, rather than wasting time searching on my own.

I definitely gotta get the tabs for Cecilia. I think that will sound great as people are being seated and stuff.

IMSNHO, Pacelbel's Canon shouldn't really be played solo by any instrument. It's a canon, fer-cryin'-out-loud! Multiple instruments is sort of the whole point of the piece. :)

Anyhoo, I played "The Wedding Song" at a wedding once. Although I was singing and playing. Might work as an instrumental if you didn't want to sing.
