I don't see this on the Kala website. Is it a discontinued model?

I got a red concert of these as a Christmas present, wanted one. One of the highlights is the pearloid binding is stunning. The metallic aspect of the finish is subtle, but nice.
The point of having one of these is for the look.
The prices I see on these on ebay are about where I'd value them. Something more than a beater, and in a non-soprano size. But definitely an under one hundred dollar uke.

Yeah, they're pretty much just standard KA-X with paint. I was looking for one in trans blue a few months back and everyone was price gouging like whoa because they're discontinued. $140 for a trans blue KA-C is more than I'm willing to pay for the uke by itself from a random web shop. Ukes.com had them for $116 on "sale", a little more reasonable, but only had the pink and white in stock.
The metallics just don't do it for me.
