Hiya all,

Been wanting to ask this for a while but it sounds silly!

As an observation the neck and scale on my fluke tenor is smaller than the corresponding one on my ohana tenor!

Does a fluke tenor approximate a concert?

Not complaining because I love them both, just questioning the variation in size lol.

Regards,

Chris

Are you sure you have a tenor Fluke? They also come with a concert neck as an option.

Measure the scale length - from the nut to the saddle.
A tenor is usually 17", a concert is 15".
I believe the fluke tenor and concert bodies are the same (I am sure someone will correct me if not)
My fluke tenor measures 17". You may also be confusing where the neck is joined to the body, which is not part of the scale length measurement.

Thanks for that...both measure 17".
As well as confusing where the neck is connected to the body I also was not allowing for the narrowness of the neck on the fluke, the reason why I could stretch more which is what alerted me to it in the first place. So I reached an invalid conclusion. Oh well...at least I can wipe the concert form my AUS for the time being :)

Cheers for clearing that up.

Chris
