Default Lehua Cigar Box update w/vid

Here's quick update on the project. Since the last one, I've added some bracing inside, installed closed gear tuners, and put a satin finish on it. Still no sound hole - I may leave it that way. The inside is accessible for future pickup installation. Right now it's strung low G. I've been waiting for a good excuse to go down there - great for blues!

Here's a vid (Sorry Mr Petty for mangling "Free Fallin" - don't know why that came out in the demonstration, just picked a random verse/chorus and quit while I was in free-fall...)

That's a real nice CBU you've made. It's a very rewarding experience to be able to play an instrument that you made. The box is unusual for sure. You might consider using a transducer p/u that you can attach on the inside in lieu of of an under saddle piezo p/u if you add that feature. Congratulations and keep on building. Good idea about the transducer, and thanks for the cool link!
