When I first heard about lap-steel ukuleles, I was really curious about how the sound translated to such a small instrument (this was before I found out how versatile the uke really is). I really like how the folks at Mya-Moe put together their version (some resonators sound too harsh and tinny for me, but from what I've heard, this one's really nice!).
Congrats, and good luck on that lap-steelin'! It's cool that you kept us posted throughout its creation process. I learned a bunch just in looking at the pictures (you know, structure and stuff).
(Also, yeah, that is ridiculously pretty. Buy a tiara for your new uke and you'll be all set.)
