Check our new island ukes. I believe, we have reinvented uke making by simplifying the process without comprising quality in the finish and sound as well. enjoy the brochure.

Wow! They still look as cool as when you posted the same thing three days ago! I wonder how they'll look next week? ;)

Any idea of price?

I got a price quote from the seller Ritchie Wagas of Wagas Craft's:

Introductory Retail price of our ukes in the Philippines are as follows :

1. Large Uke 3"x8"x24" ( Concert Size ) @ 53.33 per piece ;
2. Medium Uke 3"x7"x20" ( Soprano-Standard) @ $ 44.44 per piece;
3. Small Uke 3"x6"x16" (Soprano-Junior) @ 35.55 per piece;
4. Miniature Uke 3"x5"x12" (Soprano-Mini) @ 26.66 per piece;

Take notice that we have uniform price for each size. It means
that regardless of the design - " same size, same price ".

The export volume price is about 50% lower than our retail prices.

Still working on shipping depending on model, and amounts.

Hi guys,

We have not yet updated our website -www.wagascrafts.com. You can send email to admin@wagascrafts.com. Let me emphasize that the sides of our uke are solid wherein the bottom-side and neck-side is one inch thick, and the other sides is 1/2 inch thick. Inside the sound board is clean without braces at all. Hope you will like it.

By the way, our company operates several small stores inside big malls in the philippines. Said ukes will be available for sale by next week. Your appreciation inspired us more! Salamat !

Hi Wagas. You have these in the Manila malls? Your poster highlighting these as gift/decor/souvenir, does this mean this isn't the sort to actually play?

You can actually play them. That is why we emphasized the word UKE with big letters. The quality of the sound is good because the sides is from one whole piece solid gmelina wood. OK

Island ukes

This thread needs to be moved to the Market Place

Thanks for the suggestion. We made these ukes because we love to play them also. Because our designs are not traditional ones, then we need your feedback if these developments are acceptable by the uke lovers around the world. May these ukes be an instrument for world peace!
