Uke for around $200

Welcome to UU!

You don't mention why you want the Eleuke. Do you want an electric/ non-acoustic uke so you can play quietly? Or are you open to standard ukuleles with acoustic sound box and maybe a pick-up installed. I think we need more info to be helpful. There are not that many pure electric choices... there is Risa, but I don't know if they have anything in that price range. Eleuke has the best selection in the electric ukulele department. Mahalo has a "Les Paul" ukulele http://ukulelehunt.com/2008/09/03/mahalo-ukulele-review/
There is also Stagg http://www.amazon.com/Stagg-Electric-Ukulele-Black/dp/B003ZUGDKS

I don't have any of these, but if you check around, I know there was a thread about it a while ago.
Hope that helps.

Thank you:) i'm actuallyopen to anything i'd go with a non electric ukulele i just want the best sound for around $200. I just loved the look of that one:)

i just want best soprano sound for 200 right now im playing a $30 Lanikai Lu-11 :)

If you can see some ukuleles in person, at a music store or uke meeting, then you can hear the difference between different ukuleles. In your price range, the Kala http://www.kalaukulele.com/, Ohana http://www.ohana-music.com/, and Mainland http://www.mainlandukuleles.com/ brands would be the first places to look. If you are looking for a more acoustic sound, go with an acoustic ukulele. Electric ukes will sound more guitar-like, since much of the character of a smaller soundbox is removed when using built-in amplification. You can get acoustic ukuleles with the pick-up built in, so you get the option of both worlds, but they will cost a bit more. If you are attracted to the electric guitar look, then Eleuke and the others mentioned above might be the way to go (but you should check out reviews first).

hi lord Logan out of those two I believe your better option would be the ohana have you been on mainlandukes. Com and looked at their soprano models? What were you planning to do with your uke in the long run? If gigging is a possibility definitely get a pickup now so it's set up correctly instore.
