Specs from KoAloha website:
# All Hawaiian Koa Body
# Hand Shaped Sapele Tenor Neck
# TUSQ(tm) Nut and Saddle
# Hawaiian Koa Fretboard, straight-cut w/ Satin Finish
# KoAloha 5-pointed Crown Headstock
# 20-Fret Fretboard joined at the 15th Fret
# Fretboard Inlay Dots made of Abalone
# KoAloha’s Patented “Musubi” Soundhole
# High Gloss Finish
EDIT* As Ronnie reminded me, this has an Ebony Fretboard and an Ebony "Bowtie" bridge.
Currently strung with Worth BT's.
I bought this in March 2010 from MGM. MGM had KoAloha install a MiSi pickup for me. All Koa, except for the neck and some Zebra wood bling. List on these is around $1440 with pickup and case. MGM usually sells these for around $1250 with the case and pickup. Has superficial dings on the side and case (pictured.) Otherwise, the uke is immaculate, plays and sounds like a dream. Still has the case candy
Because of the dings, I'm selling for $1050 shipped CONUS.
Just like the Kala and Pono, I'm selling because wife thinks I have too many ukes so no trades Right or wrong, I'm keeping the wife and letting go of some ukes...LOL.
