I still think this is a really good idea. It makes a site look more professional. And it's the easiest thing in the world to throw one up there.

Still no favicon. Even a simple white on brown "UU" or ukulele icon would make the site a lot better IMO, since it shows up better in people's favorites instead of just a blank page icon.

I'm loving the idea of a UU favicon....even though I had to research what that meant.
Would it be equally as easy to use the same logo on one's desktop as a shortcut to the only address on the internet that matters?

Make a little favicon.ico graphic for the UU so it pops up in the address bar at the top of the browser. There are several freebie programs that will either help create one or let you make it pixel-by-pixel. Easy to do and adds a custom look to the forum on the browser bar.
