    Default 2010 Funniest Video Nominations

    Funniest Video
    Things to consider:
    - Creativity (how well did the performer use his/her resources to bring the laughs)
    - Inherent Funniness (Can you say that it was funny to you and almost everyone you showed it to? Or is it only funny to you?)
    - How badly it made you laugh (ROTFLMAO or just lqtm?)

    ------
    Remember:
Nominated videos must incorporate the ukulele in some way, shape, or form. The person who originally uploaded the video must be playing an ukulele in the video (audibly).

Videos must have been uploaded (for the first time ever) during 2010.

Anyone is eligible Ė you donít have to be a UU Member to be nominated.

If you nominate someone who you think is worthy of an Ukulele Underground Award, please inform them that you have nominated them, to give them the opportunity to decline the nomination if they so choose.

Please nominate videos in the category that BEST fits that video (where it has the greatest chance of winning).
    Rayan, What you are doing?

I give up with my PM box, just email ryan(at)ukuleleunderground.com

With his permission, I nominate Rob Faricelli's video "Let the Good Timez Roll."

Check it out if you haven't seen it. Heed the warning. I laugh so hard I cry every time I see this video. It's Rob at his best. And I have had the privilege of seeing this done live.

    Aloha Sukie,
Thanks for sharing with us....I think Faricelli sounds so cool!! I was thinking if he put a blues strum on it, it would be neat!! MM Stan

I nominated Heniques video "Miley Cyrus is Pregnant (with my two headed love child)" He obviously put an enormous amount of work into the video...what is funnier than an IV of everclear...nothing. It really captures a wonderfully sick side of his personality, and i've met him, Its there.

From smallest to largest. Kala Pocket Mahogany- Ohana SK-21- Kala Travel Uke- Hilo soprano (my first!)- Kamaka 1960's Soprano- Ovation Soprano- Bruko Concert- Mainland Mahogany Concert- Lanikai Banjolele Concert- Lanikai 08E- Mainland Mahogany Tenor- Savannah crappy (but loved) baritone

Last year I was part of a UK "musical comedy" competition...90% of the entries were cheesy, rude (as in jokes about fat people or cripples), sexist (in a sad "Jeez, are you 14yrs old?" way.) or just pop songs with the lyrics "amusingly" changed.....

This was my slightly "fascist" song I sent them to explain their lack of humour:

Sorry about the quality of the recording...recorded on my laptop.
I'm playing a lovely old Harmony "Roy Smeck" uke in need of new strings.

I could be mistaken but I don't believe the intention was for anyone of us to nominate our own videos. Maybe Ryan can clarify this.
