Charlotte Area Ukers - Sharing the Aloha love and Christmas spirit at local hospital!

Hello all UU peeps!

We (the Charlotte Area Ukulele Jam folks) are playing some Christmas songs at a local children's hospital on Thursday Dec 16.

If you fit the following, you are more than welcome to join us in spreading some Christmas cheer & some Aloha love:

a) you are willing to actually come & participate
b) you can either sing, play, smile benignly or any combination of those three
c) you want to bring a little Christmas joy into the lives of families in a tough spot in a hospital during the holidays
d) you are 14 or older and are not sick on that day (gotta keep sick people away from the recovering sick people)

Our next jam on Dec 4 will be our practice for this event. Come out & join us!

we had a great time at charlotte's children's hospital! thank you so much to all of you who were able to come and share the love & aloha with the little kids.

we were even able to buy two ukes that we gave away. one went to the hospital's music program so that lots of kids could enjoy it for years to come. the other went to just the right kid--his favorite color, red, even happened to be the uke's color!

Christmas is about lots of things. one key aspect is giving of yourselves, rather than getting. give something away this Christmas!
