I like the scores to The Music Man and Oklahoma, but just to set the record straight, I was brainwashed since birth to say these things...and now I really believe them.

I don't recall much about the plot of That Cold Day In The Park, but the score was outstanding. I heard a lot of Toots Thielemans' harmonica.

Here is I Never Told You, written by Johnny Mandell for That Cold Day In The Park. It is played several times in the film including on flute for the opening credits, but I really like Toots' version later on in the show.

Exactly, an outstanding composer. I especially like his music for Pearl Harbor.

As a trumpeter, here are some individual songs I like from soundtracks.

Children Of Sanchez - Chuck Mangione - long version with vocals.

Green Hornet Theme by Al Hirt

I love the original "Blues Brothers" sound track, and have played all the tunes in various groups.
The Commitments Soundtrack is another one of my favorites.

Mancini wrote so much good stuff, there's really no way to mention it appropriately.
