Has anyone ever heard/ heard of a song that starts out:
They used to call her Available Mabel,
Mabel was a friend of mine.
One section - chorus or bridge- had the lyrics:
Get down off of that table, Mable
No you can't have another drink
Get your feet down off of that table, Mabel,
And give the cheese a chance to stink
And somewhere is/might be the line:
Get down off of that table, Mabel
The two dollars is for the beer.
I've heard some musicians play it during sound checks, but can't locate a complete set of lyrics.
Thanks!
