Default Take Five - Bosko and Honey, Jim D'Ville, Jontom, Jay Lee - Melbourne uke fest 2011

    Melbourne Ukulele Festival 2011

Awards/closing night: 303 High Street Northcote. Tuesday, 1st March 2011.

I was privileged to be invited by Bosko and Honey to join them on stage with Jontom and Jim D'ville to play the Paul Desmond jazz standard 'take five' made famous by the Dave Brubeck quartet ('take five' is in the less common 5/4 time).

Bosko and Honey are freakin awesome!

Great stuff! Fantastic playing (and so good to see Honey's uke repaired)! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys, I had heaps of fun over the whole festival weekend. It was only the night before when Bosko invited me to join them in the number. It was then too that I learned the tune. I probably was the least rehearsed of everyone. All said, I enjoyed playing the number with Honey and the rest of the other international bald boys.
