    Default Two New Ukes!

Pulled the trigger and purchased a Morgan Monroe banjolele and a Mainland Classic Mahogany Tenor. After playing a Lanakai Concert Spruce Top and a Lanakai soprano whatever, I decided that yes, I was in love with the uke and needed to step it up a bit.

Haven't made the transition to the higher priced ones yet, but time will tell.

From all the good things I've heard about Mainland I'm sure you'll love it!

I also pulled the trigger on the one I've been saving for - a Tanglewood Union TU1 CE, Acoustic/Electric Soprano with amp, hard case and free lead and aquila's for free with free set-up too! Hopefully, it'll be here before the weekend, if not, Monday!

Hope you enjoy your new Uke! And welcome to UU, I see you're a new member

Thanks for the welcome. I've actually been a member since 2008 but I've rarely posted.

Vinny Gambini: It is possible that the two ukes...
Judge Chamberlain Haller: ...Ah, the two what? Uh... uh, what was that word?
    Vinny Gambini: Uh... what word?
    Judge Chamberlain Haller: Two what?
    Vinny Gambini: What?
Judge Chamberlain Haller: Uh... did you say 'ukes'?
    Vinny Gambini: Yeah, two ukes.
Judge Chamberlain Haller: What is a uke?
    [beat]
Vinny Gambini: Oh, excuse me, your honor...
    [exaggerated]
    Vinny Gambini: Two UKULELES.
