    Talking Glorious day, new uke on the way...



    Just ordered this beauty from Music Room, and I got a packet of
    complimentary chocolate pianos. Could this day be any better?!

    That is indeed very sweet. Let us know how it sounds I have been thinking more and more to get one of these for practicing when the family is in bed

    Yeah that's exactly why I got it. Now I can practice into the dark hours of night! Originally I was looking into getting an eleuke, but they are surprisingly difficult to get hold of in the UK.

    I think they are a good deal, read many positive reviews. May have to get one myself. Will probably put pick guard on one just for cosmetics.....!

    Can anybody recommend any strings for it? I've heard that the pickups respond better to fluorocarbon strings. Can anybody confirm this?
