In response to a request - for anyone wanting to jam along with a song "All of Me"
This was recorded at the ukulele hub of Singapore - Ukulele Movement. I was visiting Singapore briefly for my nephew's wedding and folks from the Singapore Uke club met up with me for a friday night jam. It was an absolute blast - what a way to make friends around the planet
All of Me
Intro: 2 strums on each till ready [C] [Cdim] [Dm7] [G7]
[C] All of me
Why not take [E7] all of me
[A7] Can’t you see
That I’m no good with [Dm] out you
[E7] Take my lips
I want to [Am] loose them
[D7] Take my arms
I’ll never [Dm7] use [G7] them
[C] You’re goodbye
Left me with [E7] eyes that cry
[A7] How can I go on dear with [Dm] out you
[F] You took the [Fm] part
That [C] once [Em7] was my [A7] heart
So [Dm7] why not take [G7] all of [C] me [Cdim] [Dm7] [G7]
Repeat and then finish on [C]
"All of Me" is a classic - a popular song and jazz standard written by Gerald Marks and Seymour Simons in 1931, and covered by so many!
