Pete, do you a sound sample? With this uke, sound is especially important.

I quote from James Nixon....
Just when my Ukulele Acquisition Syndrome was quelled you had to put this up for sale ...Hopefully it goes to a good home as its probably the best uke I've ever played.
On ukulelecosmos forum.

My current camera is useless - it has 'noise' which for a digital camera is comical :( Take it from me, when I was playing and talking to clients this afternoon the uke was drowning out their voices.

I know this is only my word, but if that's the
same one, I played it for a minute last friday
and Pete played a short set with it on the
saturday night at the Snowdonia Gathering.
And it's magical! Unbelievably loud for its size
but with a beautiful tonal range.Had I not got
my hands on a Pete Howlett uke this weekend,
I would have been up for this one!

Apocalypse uke

I like it. Are you going to build more like that?

The bridge seems tooo .... toooooo.....

I'm still ridiculously tempted to buy this somehow. Might just have to save up and commission one next year, or pray it doesn't sell (highly doubt it though)

Didn't record a sound sample when i had a go but the best way I can describe the sound is "pure and clear", in my mind just what a mahogany soprano should sound like. Nicer than my pride and joy 1927 Gibson soprano :(
