Another uke to add to my small collection. I think this started out life as a banjo and was converted to a ukulele banjo. The tuning pegs seem to have a problem and haven't been able to play it yet so I don't have a review yet. I wanted to post the pics but didn't know where else to do it. I am going to ask a question about the pegs in the other forum. The neck which looks maple has tiger stripes and the body appears to be birdseye maple. It looks in overall good condition. I'm happy about the purchase. If anyone knows any info on this it would be much appreiciate it. On the back it says Slingerland and a number 011 Thanks for looking.

Thanks Stan, I took it to my guitar luthier along with the favilla baritone and he is going to get them both playing for me and repair a couple of small cracks in the favilla. He said it should look good after he is done. I can't wait to get them back.

It looks like it could be tenor banjo. Not sure though. If it is that would be a nice score in itself.

It was a tenor banjo that was made into a uke. Good eye icuker.
