funny bridge on Duke Kahanamoku vintage lol

The bridge looks fine, but someone put the body and neck on backwards! :p

yeah, i wrote to him to tell him it's on upside down. who knows whether he'll do anything about it?

Those Ukes you can get for 75- 100 depending on condition...sometimes less too...as for taking off the bridge...wonder what type of glue they used..could be a real pain.....
you need to re do it because of the scale lenght..it must sound dull and flat now...Stan

that's just the Aussie style bridge.

All credit to the seller, who changed the listing to acknowledge the problem and took very little money for it. It's worth $35 to see if it can be put right.

From the residue in the photo, I'd warrant it is TiteBond, as TCK suggested. TiteBond is pretty tough to get off, but it can be done, with a little heat and a LOT of patience!

I was repairing a stool and my wife was convinced titebond would not hold it- I grabbed an old saw and glued piece and stood on it so she could see the wood break before the glue joint...but I have also popped it right off with a pot of boiling water and a towel tent
