Uke Case Help

Hello all! I'm new to the ukulele, just been playing for a month and I had a question about my case. I bought my case on eBay and when I put in my Mitchell uke, the bottom half fits perfectly, but the tuning pegs jut out into the side of the case. It still closes fine, but I'm worried. Will the pegs or uke get messed up? Thanks!

If it's a hard case and lined, really nothing much to worry about. Unless you use it as a lethal weapon. J/K . . . I have a hard case from Kamaka and the tuners on my 6 string do the same thing.
