    Default "Ukulele Polka"

traditional. Lil Rev recorded this a few albums back. this is my arrangement of the tune. A quiet night in, freezing outside, a couple of brandy's and a couple of coasters later...

    hey Mark,

freezing? Well, not really, there's a bit of the melodramatic in me coming out....think it got down to about 2 degrees C. Cold for us lightweights. A coaster? I think we euphemistically refer to them as Indonesian cigarettes...

Bless you. I needed some foot stompin' polka to lighten my mood. As usual, you've got it going on. Thanks.

Here, coasters are the thing you put under a drink to keep it from leaving a ring on your tabletop. Using one of your coasters that way would be a tragic waste.

Seriously, mate. This is rollicking good! Great right hand technique, it sounds like minstrel banjo to me!~

If you want to know what 'freezing' is all about, take a trip to Norway some time in January. Other than that, this video is just wonderful.
    Brandy does the trick (occasionally).
