Lanikai LU-21 VS. Kala KA-S

Hi,
I have been recently interested in the ukulele. My top two choices for my first uke are the Lanikai LU-21 or the Kala KA-S. Which should I get?

I think they are both good choices. My first Uke was the Lanikai LU and my daughter-in-law has the Kala KA-S. They both are good first ukes. I personally would make sure to buy from someone who does a professional set-up.

I got a LU-21 and it was a very nice uke, but the factory setup wasn't good. I hear that some of them come from the factory just fine. You would be shocked how much easier it is to play and learn on a well setup uke!!

Make sure you purchase from HMS, Uke Republic, Mainland, MIMs, or another quality retailer that is known for good setups and great customer service!
