Who makes a wide nut ukulele

My Kala KA-ASAC-B baritone has a 1 1/2 inch nut. I also have a Pono Pro-classic bari and it has a 1 3/8 nut. My Kala is usually my "go to" uke because, to me, the wider neck fits my chubby fingers best. The point is you are correct in trying out both before making any major investment. Also the shape of the neck probably figures into the equation. good luck.
