SOLD
#414. Build date February 2012.
Beautiful uke, full bodied, rich, warm tone. excellent sustain. To me it sounds very similar to mango wood. Duane likens it more to mahogany so I guess it's more like mahogany! Whatever, it has a very smooth and sweet voice
basic specs:
macadamia top, back and sides, and headstock overlay
mango neck w/ graphite truss rod
rosewood fretboard, bridge, body binding
bone nut and saddle
friction tuners, cream buttons
satin finish
12 frets to body, 18 total
worth brown strings
Tweed hardshell case
some pics:
some video demos:
paid $750 with no case and shipping was extra.
I am including a tweed hardshell case valued at 60+ dollars bought from elderly instruments. My asking price is still only $750.
I have owned the uke less than a month and it has had little playing time. Not a mark to be found anywhere on the instrument save for two very minor finish blemishes which were there when I received it. These are impossible to photograph and are very tiny anyway. I would like $50 for shipping which would amount to just under half the cost with insurance.
further questions etc please PM me. Thanks for taking a look all.
