Default My pleasant stay at La Quinta

I'm up in traveling for work, staying the night at a La Quinta and missing the fams.

But I have had an enjoyable time practicing on my uke and learning that I don't know how to make vids.

On the way in one of the people at the desk asked about my "tiny guitar." But when I had a problem with the key card that was resolved most promptly and kindly by the manager, we had a very nice chat.

He told me he is in the Guiness Book for playing in Hawaii with 800 folks. I turns out they had a managers' convention there when the last record was broken.

I told him he will need to go back.

sigh, I wish I could go there instead of Cleveland ...

I wish I had rediscovered the Uke in my travel years. Hope you get some quality strummin in.

At least the river by Cleveland hasn't started on fire lately.
