    Classics have MANY more options. Classics can have different top woods, whereas traditions are always the same wood top & back. I think they also use different grades of wood (which would be the aesthetics thing).

    If you go to the order form, or the pricing page, it shows pretty clearly the differences.

    tradition: standard wood range; no bindings, no rosette, no finish options
    classic: select from any woods and bindings; abalone rosette and markers, purfling etc; gloss or oil finish etc

    This might be helpful to you...

    Yup..ha ha more bling if that is your thing....what I like with their regular finish is they sound better to me...
