    This is a absolutely beautiful Custom Phil Riggio ukulele. All solid curly Koa top, back and sides with tortoise top binding. Mahogany neck and black/white rosette. Rosewood fingerboard and pin bridge. Bone nut and saddle. I upgraded the tuners to Waverlys with curly koa button. Excellent volume and sustain. The logo is made of Kilua beach sand. The fret markers or on the side which adds a very unique style. Selling to fund my upcoming custom. Serial #006. All handmade here in Oahu, Hawaii!

    As the writer of the review you cite, I'm glad to help. As I said in my review, I could well imagine getting a custom Riggio in future but I don't want to give up the one I have! Your offer here is a really great deal and somebody will love this one.

    What might you compare it to as far as tone goes? Kanilea, kamaka, etc...?

    Absolutely Kanilea, Phil used to work for them.
