Has anybody played a Flea or Fluke with a walnut-laminate soundboard?

Looks like the Magic Fluke Company has been staying busy - I see that they now offer Fleas and Flukes with a walnut (laminate) soundboard.

Has anybody played one of these yet? I'm curious as to any potential sonic differences between these and the regular pine-laminate Fleas and Flukes.

Yes! I have a Fluke with a walnut soundboard and a walnut fretboard. The soundboard has the hibiscus shaped sound hole. It's sort of hard to say how it differs tonally from the pine because I also have it strung with low G Fremont black strings. It seems to have more sustain all around than my pine Flea but that could be from being a Fluke instead of a Flea or from the strings or even from the shape of the sound hole or it could be from the walnut. I really like it and enjoy the sound very much.
