Song Help Request Good Songs to learn on the ukulele

Drop Baby Drop by Manao Company, Honey Baby by Three Plus, One Night Stand by Kekai Boyz, and Kiss You in the Morning by Kalaeloa are the standard beginner songs here in Hawaii. The picking is pretty simple, and there's a lot of room to practice different strumming patterns and techniques.

I throw back a Zen answer - is there any song that's not good on ukulele? I mean, as long as you have fun, you can play anything. OK so I only play instrumental pieces but I do have fun. You will be amazed how versatile ukulele is once you toss out the barrier. I think that's how Jake got to where he is.
Anyway, I've been working on The Rose (by Bette Midler). You can start with nice picking for intro, and then build up into strumming on 2nd verse?
