Our Farmers Market opens at 8, as does the Art & Craft market which lines the lake. The Beer Garden should help us keep cool.

Awesome line-up includes Victoria Vox, Bruce Hutton, the Sweater Set, and many more.

The talent really stepped it up this year. The Paul Hemmings Uketet wowed everyone. Pat Quinn and Gina DeSimone had me singing along with every blues song they did. The Sweater Set was awesome despite covering "Call Me Maybe" and the alumni performers didn't fail to put smiles on everyone's faces.

Great beer by Lost Rhino and a large selection of ukes by various vendors capped off the day.
 
Shoot, missed it. Are there any other festivals in the DC/MD/VA area coming up?
 
Thanks for the heads up on the Glen Allen festival. It's not all that far from DC and I've got it on my calendar, maybe see some fellow UUr's there.
