Playing Ukulele while Standing?

I learned how to tune as a kid, playing violin.
Hate it.
Why make life so much more difficult when an electric tuner will get you where you need to go in seconds?

I got too much music to make in the rest of my life to waste time futzing with tuning.

Oh, and as for standing while playing...

I always have while performing.
I never used to use a strap, mashing it against my body worked fine... until I mashed up my shoulder and wrist in an accident.
I did a three hour set and thought I was going to die and a friend told me to use a strap. I hemmed and hawed, liking the "Pick it up and play" thing, and he got a piece of string and rigged up a strap for me and... well... I've never looked back, even though I'm fully healed.

That's for my tenors and baris, though.

Sopranos don't need a strap, really. Just wedge 'em in as best you can!
